Flare Welcomes Google Cloud as Validator, FLR Price Rises

Google and Flare

In a major partnership underscoring the ongoing blockchain adoption by technology titans, Google’s cloud computing division has allied with Flare, an emerging blockchain network focused on decentralized data transmission. Under this new collaboration, Google Cloud will take on dual responsibilities within the Flare ecosystem as both a validator securing the network and an infrastructure provider supplying external data to Flare’s Oracle system.

Google Cloud joins approximately 100 other organizations assuming these combined, critical duties. As a validator, Google will assist in validating Flare’s transactions and bolstering the overall network’s security. Additionally, by leveraging its vast data capabilities as an Oracle infrastructure provider, Google Cloud will feed high-quality, real-world data into Flare’s blockchain.

Flare Oracles serve as integral connectors between the Flare network and external data sources, enabling Flare’s smart contracts to execute based on real-world inputs and outputs. Through integrating valuable Google Cloud data, Flare can further empower developers building decentralized applications with the information necessary to drive utility and adoption.
